Fall Fun

We had some fun playing in the leaves a week or so before Halloween. This was the week before Dad came to visit...the week before ...the swine flu hit (we think). We've recovered now and life is almost back to normal.

The girls tried on their Halloween costumes. Alexia did not like the bonnet I made. I can't blame her. It looks big enough for a giant to wear....that's why the flap is folded back. Tia decided to model her "tomato hat". I knit it for a friend's soon-to-be-born baby but it came out a bit large. Hmmm....seems to be a recurring theme.

And here we are on Halloween day! Papou (Despy's Dad) was just getting ready to leave from our almost week long visit. It was so nice to have him here...even if we did stay home and take care of sick kids the whole time. Tia did not get to go trick-or-treating because she still had a fever...poor thing. Thankfully, she didn't really know it. Here, Tia sports the gigantic bonnet and Alexia got to wear a loaner bonnet with matching apron from Aunt Nancy.
