Things are finally settling down here in IL and we are feeling human again! Tianna has been sleeping through the night for about 5 or 6 nights now. She still fights naps during the day but hopefully that will come with time. Alexia has recovered from Strep. Things are looking up! Just in time to celebrate Alexia's 7th birthday! The preceding pictures are from our last few days in China. Some of those pictures were taken in the lobby of the beautiful White Swan Hotel in Guangzhou. On our last night in Guangzhou, our whole group met for dinner there. They are known to have the best buffet in all of China (for $50/pp -- ouch!). Of course, it didn't pay to get Alexia the buffet since she wouldn't eat 99% of the items on the buffet. So, she had a $17 hot dog instead. And the worst part was when it arrived, it was in a bun filled with egg. That was the most expensive hot dog she never ate!
I'm also attaching a few pictures below of life here at home. Tianna is having fun trying lots of new foods, playing with new toys and meeting lots of new friends. And we are so enjoying learning more about her and falling deeper in love with her.

We are Michael and Kate's friends and neighbors in Lake Villa, IL - We want to congratulate you on your beautiful little girl - she is so precious!!!!!
We are also adopting our baby from China and are currently in the "waiting period" - LID 8/7/07.
We are already finding the waiting process to be very difficult. However,with alot of praying we know that in the end we will be holding our beautiful daughter ("Grace") in our arms just like you are with Tianna. "Thanks" for sharing your wonderful journey with us and for giving us "HOPE". We hope we can meet all of you next time you're visiting Michael & Kate (we just love them)!
