Xia Xia sick now!

Tonight, we returned from dinner and Xia Xia was being fussy. She felt hot and sure enough, had a fever of 101.6. This is amazing because today she had a medical exam and passed with flying colors. As soon as we left there, I thought she felt hot but dismissed it because they checked her temp (under her arm) and it was 97.2. I should've known they did not get a good reading. They did check her ears and throat and said she was fine. Oh, well, these things can come on fast. Perhaps she has what Tom had a few days ago. Please pray that it passes quickly -- it would be nice if she was healthy for our flight home on Thursday. And please pray that Alexia and I don't catch it. Thank you!

Oh no...poor Tianna! We don't want that little bug sick for her big flight home!! And we certainly don't want you or Alexia to come down with it, Despy. Take your vitamin C and rest when you can. Have you started paperwork at the U.S. Consulate? Glad Guangzhou is such an inviting place and that you can enjoy yourselves your last few days in China. Pizza for dinner and Starbucks ...who would've thought?!!! Anxious though to get you back on U.S. soil. Sending hugs...

We had saved your Christmas letter - just ran across it an checked in on your adventure. We are so thrilled for you all! Tianna is absolutely beautiful. How wonderful for Alexia that she is old enough to really enjoy and remember this experience. How amazing she is! We are certainly praying for a quick recovery for Tianna and good health for you all. It is so hard to avoid these things in tight quarters and away from the comforts of home. Thanks for sharing your journey!
Lots of love,

Hi Despy,

I'll be praying for Xia Xia's health and protection for you and Alexia. With Tianna not feeling well she will really be looking for her Mommy's comforting touches. What a great opportunity for extra bonding! We can't wait to see all of you.
Blessings,
Shelley
